I will take one. One thought to think today. One song to sing today. One part to play today.
But I am not one.
I am two. I am me. I am you.
I see who you are. I want to lift your burden or bear your pain.
But if I do that
I diminish who you are.
I become the crutch that weakens you rather than the pain that strengthens you.
I did not choose to be chosen.
I was chosen in order to choose.
I choose HIM.
HE will not diminish you by making choices for you.
HE will not encourage entropy
by allowing you to lean too heavily on your crutch.
HE will walk beside you
He will know you
He will train you
HE will show you.
HE Is so incomprehensible.
It makes HIM much.
By choosing Him,
You do not need me as your crutch.
